Mark's work is characterised by an interest in the colour and texture
of landscape, and in natural processes. Much of his work is influenced
by his love of travel, to places as diverse as India, Sri Lanka,
Morocco and Brazil.
He says, "Ambiguity
is another characteristic, some of the work hovers between 2D and
3D. Are they colourful paintings on thick shaped canvas; or shallow,
wall sculpture?"
